Beginnings

This activity report will be encompassing the previous weeks:
I've discussed the Hands-On Journalism project with several academic advisors and staff, including Nancy Koppleman, Todd Sprague, and Sandy Kaiser, and the Deans of Curriculum. Additionally, I will be looking to talk to Stephanie Kozick and Doren Swetkis, who were recommended to me to talk to.
I've learned that the type of contract I will be drafting will depend on the sponsor - it can be a group contract, an SOS, or even a non-profit internship.
I will be reviewing these books for possibe reading materials and seminar discussions in the program. I'll be uploading my summaries of these books with my activity reports.

I will also be contacting journalism professors at other colleges to discuss how they conduct their class and what materials they use. Other colleges include Western, UW, WSU, and other colleges named for their journalism programs.
