Week Three: Dominique and Christina decided for sure to join the cluster.Brainstormed ideas for the quarter. Researched : How do you create a nonprofit? Tax information? Found 215-page Washington State Handbook. The rules vary in the different 50 states. There is a difference between all the different non profits (not for profit, nonprofit corporation, charity, non government organization etc..

Week Five: Brainstormed. Researched: funding tips and ideas. Read articles about the vulnerability to fraud if you hire the "wrong person." Researched why a lot of nonprofits fail to avoid those mistakes.
Week Six: Talked about next quarter's Nonprofit Panel. Christina and Dominique attended the first meeting about the panel and gave their input. Talked to Doug about the date and the class attending. Courtney is working with Doug for the room
Week Seven: Brainstormed. Tried to tie in civic intelligence to the different areas that nonprofits work with. Talked about how our cluster can outreach to our community after the panel.
Week Eight: Brainstormed new ideas and the research we gathered.
Week Nine: Started writing summaries on our findings.
Week Ten: Created a PowerPoint to present in class. Christina attended the second meeting for the Nonprofit Panel next quarter.
