SHAC Meeting
Submitted by vondil31 on Tue, 2015-06-02 20:36
Dillon this week attended the South Hill Advisory Commission meeting on Monday, June 1st. This meeting discussed two proposals, both of which have been pushed forward by T-mobile. These proposals include a new 60-foot telecommunications tower along with a replacement 116-foot utility tower (going in place where a 100-foot utility tower currently stands). This meeting was very relaxed, there was a couple of jokes made here and there and took place inside of a training room at a local fire department. I was one of two guests of the public; the other knew one of the T-mobile representatives by name. There were seven commission members (of eight) and fourteen people in attendance total.
