Week 6 Report

I met with Sustainability in Prisons Project (SPP) last week to discuss a partnership between the Juvenile Justice and Rehabilitation Assocation (JJRA). SPP is creating its application process right now, so a formal partnership will be a month or two away. SPP shared a complete cost analysis for to start a beekeeping program (start up would be at $12,000 with no donations). SPP also gave contact resources of local bee organizations that would be interested in teaching the program at low cost or for free, which need to be contacted. I sat down with Green Hill School Transition Coordinator and a tentative date is set for the first Saturday in March for a volunteer opportunity to work side by side with Green Hill youth making and firing clay pots for the cultural Pow Wow in April

I am also looking to schedule a date to bring in cluster member into Green Hill so they can get a better idea and feel for life here.

I am looking for a collaboration with Home Office to try and acquire the Twitter name @CIRAL, which will require documents proving that I am a representive of an organization titled CIRAL and also awaiting an update of the OTB to make contributions to the first chapter for finalized edits.
