Weekly update

This week I volunteered at the community work party at Swan Creek Food Forest in Tacoma with Ulysses and 6 or 7 other volunteers.  The food forest holds work parties the third Sunday of each month.    We worked on removing Himalayan Blackberry in an area of the food forest where it was popping back up again. Himalayan Blackberry is an incredibly invasive plant.  The root ball has to be dug out, because if you don't get the root ball, it will grow back and can eventually spread to take over the entire area.
