Between the Bars -- Human Stories from Prison

Between the Bars is a new blogging platform geared specifically for the over 2 million Americans who are currently in prison. We enable prisoners to blog on paper by scanning their letters. We aim to provide a positive outlet for creativity, a tool to assist in the maintenance of social safety nets, and a means to promote non-criminal identities and personal expression. We hope to improve prisoner's lives, and help to reduce recidivism.
