Manifesto
Pattern number within this pattern set:
374
Douglas Schuler
Public Sphere Project (CPSR)
Problem:
The world, as well know, is beset with problems of all types. Individuals and groups have ideas as to what should be done yet these aren't always articulated.
Context:
An individual or group that has specific demands or recommendations.
Discussion:
We will be discussing this pattern in more depth later. We will also be providing links to several manifestoes and declarations that are relevant to the work of this language.
Image of Lafayette's "Rights of Man" is from http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/treasures/trt008.html.
Solution:
Develop an articulate and forceful manifesto of beliefs. It should be clear and direct. It's not a legal document but a declaration to everybody, from people without power to those with lots.
