Intuitive Journalism
Pattern number within this pattern set:
911
Steve Thompson
Teesside University
Problem:
Reporting and documenting local community issues and events
Context:
To Be Developed
Discussion:
I have observed that most people understand media because they have been surrounded by it for years. When faced with recording a piece of media or interviewing someone they will often emulate mainstream media intuitively. I very much believe there is such a thing as intuitive journalism which probably comes as a result of being surrounded by media for many years that it becomes second nature.
Solution:
Need to ask Doug about this
